These policies apply to
all UCANweb clients with no exceptions.
If you DO NOT understand the terms of
use stated on this page, DO NOT sign
up for services. Ignorance is not
an excuse for breach of these policies.
By signing up for any service from
UCANweb, you have agreed that you
have read this page and understand
it clearly.
Web Hosting
Policies:

Payment for all hosting and
design services is due prior
to the time that the Web
site is activated. |
| ·
|
Additional bandwidth charges
are charged at the end of
every billing period. |
| ·
|
All Payments are due within
15 (fifteen) days of the
date of invoice |
| ·
|
Payments past due 30 (thirty)
or more days are subject
to a penalty of 10% (ten
percent) of the total amount
due of the previous bill
per month. |
| ·
|
All content housed on UCANweb's
servers must be legal in
Kentucky, USA. |
| ·
|
No "warez", "serialz", "appz",
etc. sites may be housed
on UCANweb's servers.
|
| ·
|
Adult content is acceptable
on UCANweb's servers,
however underage content
is strictly prohibited.
Underage is defined as
under the age of 18 (eighteen).
|
Unsolicited Commercial E-mail
|
| ·
|
The use of UCANweb's servers
to send, relay, or in any
other way distribute or
promote unsolicited commercial
e-mail, also known as SPAM,
is strictly
prohibited. |
| ·
|
Any person or customer proven
to be using UCANweb's servers
to send, relay, or in any
other way distribute or
promote unsolicited commercial
e-mail (SPAM) will be charged
a fee of $500 (five hundred
dollars) per e-mail No exceptions
will be made in this area.

| ·
|
Additional bandwidth is charged
in increments of 1000 (one
thousand) megabytes. |
| ·
|
Additional bandwidth costs
$3 (three dollars) per 1000
(one thousand) megabytes
per month over the monthly
allowance. |

|
In the event that the customer
exceeds their allowed bandwidth,
UCANweb reserves the right
to choose one of the following
options: |

| 1. |
If the customer chose not
to be automatically
billed for excess
bandwidth usage on
the initial sign-up
form, then the customer's
service will be temporarily
discontinued until
either UCANweb receives
payment for excess
bandwidth, or the
next billing cycle
begins. |
| 2. |
If the customer has chosen
the automatic billing
option for excess
bandwidth usage on
the initial sign-up
form, then their credit
card will automatically
be billed, and service
will not be interrupted.

| ·
|
Resale of FTP and POP3 accounts
under the web500 account
is permitted at no extra
charge. Resale under any
other account types, and
the resale of telnet accounts,
is strictly prohibited without
the express permission of
UCANweb staff. |
| ·
|
UCANweb reserves the right
to terminate service to
any customer without prior
consent or warning for any
reason without any compensation
to the customer.
|
| ·
|
Although we pride ourselves
in providing over 95%
uptime, we provide no
guarantees. UCANweb issues
no refunds unless otherwise
specified prior to sign-up.
|
| ·
|
Domain name registration services are provided by RegisterPDQ. Domain name registrations are subject to the terms and policies outlined in their website..
|
|

UCANweb reserves the right
to choose one of the following
options: |

If the customer chose not

(6) months is required.
A termination fee of $200.00
applies to all contracts
canceled before the end
of the six month period.

UCANweb reserves the right
to terminate service to
any customer without prior
consent or warning for any
reason without any compensation
to the customer.

|
Although we pride ourselves
in providing over 95%

Web Service Disclaimer:
UCANweb, Inc., (UCANweb), does
not necessarily endorse, support,
sanction, encourage, verify or agree
with the content, comments, opinions
or statements hosted by UCANweb customers,
banner exchange participants, advertisers,
vendors or partners. Information,
products, and services offered, sold
or placed online belong to the respective
companies or individuals who place
them there and are not representative
of UCANweb. The user understands that
UCANweb is not responsible for the
content, quality or merchantability
of any information, product or service
offered herein and the user must assume

or hosting with UCANweb. The user
agrees that UCANweb is not responsible,
and shall have no liability to such
user, with respect to any information,
product or service offered by others
who are linked to the UCANweb web
site or hosted on UCANweb servers.
UCANweb shall not be liable for any
damages allegedly sustained arising
out of use of the information, products
and services. UCANweb's only liability
in the event of errors shall be the
correction or removal of the erroneous
information after verification.
PC Repair
Policies:

A written contract is
required before any service
can begin. |
| ·
|
The full service call
fee ($50 regular, $75 emergency)
will be charged to all jobs, regardless
if a job fails to pass the initial
60 minutes of a service call.

| ·
|
The service call fee will
be charged as soon as technicians
begin work based on the service
agreement. |
| ·
|
The service fee is applied
once per contract. |
| ·
|
Any fraction of an hour remaining
after servicing will be charged
as a full hour. |
| ·
|
Payment for all PC repair
services is due upon the completion
of all contracted work. Failed
payments will be collected by
a agency chosen by UCANweb. |
| ·
|
Clients must agree in writing
to pay the service rate specified
on the service agreement before
any repair service will begin.
|
| ·
|
Billed payments are due within
15 (fifteen) days of the date
of invoice unless otherwise specified.
|
| ·
|
All payments past due 15
(days) or more days are subject
to a penalty of 15% (fifteen percent)
of the total amount due.

| ·
|
UCANweb is in no way responsible
for the data contained on any
machine that is services by any
UCANweb representative. UCANweb
suggests that clients back up
all crucial data onto a separate
storage medium (CD-R, tape, ZIP,
etc.) before any work is begun.

| ·
|
UCANweb is not responsible
for any faulty hardware or software
purchased by the client for installation
in/on any machine serviced by
a UCANweb representative.
|
| ·
|
UCANweb is not responsible
for any issues that arise after
services have been completed.
All installations will be tested
for proper functionality before
services are completed.
|
| ·
|
UCANweb is not responsible
for any software or hardware that
is installed prior to or after
a representative has serviced
a machine. |
| ·
|
UCANweb will NOT install
software or hardware that is illegally
obtained by the client (i.e. burned
copies of the Windows operating
system or PC games.) Any attempt
to have a representative install
such software and/or hardware
will result in an immediate termination
of service without question. Clients
will be required to pay the amount
agreed to on the contract.

|
Any software or hardware
installed on any machine must
be purchased by the client.
UCANweb does not supply any software/hardware,
other than the proper software
drivers for hardware or freely
distributed software (i.e. Linux
operating systems). |
| ·
|
UCANweb representatives are
not required to instruct clients
on the operation of new software
and/or hardware. |
